This mushroom has a clean pure white long and thin stem with a tiny crispy cap, almost always cultivated in bottles. It is needle-shaped, about 3 to 5 inches long. Its pretty appearance makes it a great garnish on salad. However, it is not just the looks that have made this mushroom popular, the enoki mushroom goes well with soup and hot pots, too. Just a reminder: do not over-cook it.
