The least expensive truffle in this most expensive mushroom family. This black-looking fungus opens into a solid whitish inside, with an average of golf-
ball size. As its name, this truffle starts in summer time and finishes in autumn. Truffles are consumed for its distinct aroma. There are many truffle-related products, such as truffle oil, truffle butter, and truffle powder, etc.

Together with portabella and white button mushroom, shiitake is one of the 3 “most wanted” mushrooms on household's shopping lists. It is
usually picked after the cap opens up. Its meaty texture and delicate taste produces a better combination with almost any kind of food, in any style. It is easy to grow, available in most of the grocery markets. Shiitake mushroom is now being studied for its medical use in deterring cancerous growth.
SHIMEJI (BEECH)
Also known as fried chicken mushroom it is available in two colors, gray and pure snow white. Wild shimeji, growing only in autumn is always gray. It is good-looking, slender stems, tiny caps, tender and crispy at the same time, becoming more and more popular among chefs.
